Job Summary

• Collaborating with camera sensor experts and computer vision specialists to formulate requirements for camera image quality
• Researching and designing testing protocols and laboratory measurements to ensure camera systems meet image quality requirements
• Researching and utilizing objective metrics and subjective evaluations to assess image quality
• Contributing to the optimization of ISP tuning parameters for ADAS applications.
• Supporting the selection of next-generation camera sensors
• Supporting the simulated sensor modeling processes of sensors based on optical principles in aiSim (Camera, LiDAR)

Key Qualifications

• Experience with camera sensor systems, including camera lenses, image sensors and image signal processing
• Deep understanding of camera-related optics (photometry, radiometry and geometrical optics)
• Hands-on experience with lab testing and measurement techniques for camera benchmarking purposes
• Understanding of image signal processing (ISP) algorithms
• Intermediate-level programming knowledge in Python / MATLAB / C++
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify sensor-related image quality issues
• Intermediate level English knowledge 
• Proactive, reliable, quality-focused attitude 

Considered as a Plus

• Experience with computer vision algorithms, deep learning models, and applications in ADAS
• Experience with signal level pre-processing methods used in camera models
• Knowledge in color science
• Experience with renderer systems, photometric rendering or light simulation
