Job summary 

• Support the technical documentation team in creating, reviewing, and improving documentation for automotive software systems (e.g. simulation software, data management software). 
• Edit and clarify existing technical descriptions, specifications, and instructions to improve accuracy, consistency, and readability. 
• Assist in structuring technical content such as user guides, installation instructions, and parameter descriptions. 
• Collaborate with engineers and senior technical writers to understand complex technical concepts. 
• Gain hands-on experience in professional documentation processes within an automotive software development environment. 

Key requirements 

• Ongoing (active/passive) full-time university studies for at least one more year (preferably in engineering, computer science, English studies, or a related field) 
• Availability of at least 20 working hours per week 
• Strong written English skills with attention to grammar, clarity, and logical structure (at least C1 language exam or English BA degree) 
• Ability to understand and improve technical texts, even when the subject matter is complex or unfamiliar 
• Basic interest in automotive systems, software development, or embedded systems 
• Careful, detail-oriented working style and willingness to learn from feedback 

Nice to have 

• Basic video editing skills
