We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join our Technical Documentation Team. 

As a Technical Writer at aiMotive, you will work closely with software engineers, AI researchers, and product teams to transform complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation. Whether documenting autonomous driving capabilities, hardware platforms, simulation tools, data processing pipelines, you will play a key role in making cutting-edge technology understandable and accessible to both internal and external audiences. We are looking for a curious and versatile communicator who enjoys learning new technologies, asking the right questions, and turning deep technical knowledge into high-quality documentation that helps our products succeed.

Summary

• Writing technical documentation for aiMotive's SW products and solutions (aiDrive, aiWare, aiSim, aiData) in English, delivered to our partners and customers 
• Supporting SW development customer projects with user-centered content 
• Preparing and editing internal process and developer documentation 
• Close cooperation with Software Development teams and Product Management 

Key Qualifications

• BA/BSc degree, preferably in the following fields: English, Engineering, Communication or any related field   
• Minimum C1 level English proficiency 
• Fluent, confident English language skills with the ability to produce technically accurate, high-quality content 
• At least 3 years of experience creating technical documentation (preferably, in SW development environment) 
• Experience with authoring tools, content management systems, or markup languages (for example, Confluence, XML, HTML, or Markdown). 
• Critical, proactive and problem-solving attitude 
• Strong oral and written communication skills 
• Accuracy, precision 
• Ability to work independently, autonomously, and systematically 

Considered as a plus 

• Experience creating technical diagrams and visual documentation, such as flowcharts, UML diagrams, process flows, and system architecture diagrams 
• Strong technical interest and aptitude to learn new technologies 
• Ability to interpret source code, configuration files, and API specifications 
• Knowledge of ADAS, autonomous driving, sensor technologies, or data management systems 
• Familiarity with fundamental road traffic principles and regulations
