Our Japanese team is expanding! We are looking for a Tokyo-based Solutions Architect (working remotely), to help architect and manage complex engineering projects, identify market needs, and implement best practices for customers. This position will involve intense collaboration with automotive customers and subject matter experts within aiMotive on a technical level in order to implement solutions for customer pain points & manage large projects.

At aiMotive, You Will

• Be working remotely, but closely cooperating with our local team & Japanese distributor, and our HQ in Budapest (Hungary)
• Continuously engage customers to understand the project progress & further pain points, and areas for more project engagements
• Serve as a vital point of contact for our customers, understanding requirements and providing regular updates
• Join sales discussions in Japan to present our products and identify customer use cases
• Provide regular touch points with aiMotive’s internal teams to update on customer use cases and workflows that our current software solutions do not yet provide a solution for
• Coordinate internal and external teams, facilitate communication, and align technical roadmaps
• Ensure technical alignment between customer needs and solutions, supporting integration and validation
• Drive problem-solving and decision-making across teams to resolve project issues
• Translate local business scenarios and regulatory needs into a scalable architecture that integrates well with our global product portfolio.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry knowledge in ADAS or Automated Driving
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science or related engineering field
• Prior experience with delivering complex OEM projects at an OEM or an Automotive Tier 1
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in Japanese and English
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working directly with customers
• Willingness to travel abroad (average 1 week per quarter) 
• Ability to work independently
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude
