Developing automated driving requires a complete, mature toolchain to collect, generate, use and manage the data needed for a safe and robust solution. aiData is the most advanced, data-driven pipeline for automated driving that reduces the complexity of the processing with high automatization while still ensuring automotive quality. 

Recording, uploading and ingesting data from vehicles precedes any data processing, that’s why it’s important to have robust, user friendly and efficient software and solutions to support these steps. As a member of the aiRec team, you will be working on software that handles efficient cross-continent data transfer, automatic upload and data preprocessing, conversion of foreign data from our partners using aiData, among others. You will occasionally work with actual vehicles that record sensor data.

  • In-vehicle data recording software 
  • Software for Upload Station 
  • Data preprocessing software 
  • Data migration software from previous data formats 
  • Data conversion software from foreign data formats 
• Work with sensor data including cameras, Lidars, radars, GNSS and IMU sensors 
• Cooperate with external partners using aiData software 
• Work on different automotive compute platforms and vehicle models 
• Close cooperation with other development and research teams 

Key Qualifications 

• Advanced knowledge of C/C ++, at least 2 years of work experience 
• Advanced knowledge of Python, at least 2 years of work experience 
• Studies in Information technology/Software engineering 
• Intermediate English skills 
• Proactive identification and end-to-end resolution of technical challenges 
• Intrinsic motivation and critical approach to improve existing processes and software 
• Strong communication skills across teams  

Considered as a plus 

• Experience with Git/GitHub and CMake 
• Experience with GPU programming, video encoding / decoding 
• Experience with protocol parsers, or parsing sensor data 
• Experience with IP/UDP/TCP or CAN protocols 
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL in particular) 
• Experience in developing runtime performance critical software 
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes 
• Experience working in AWS cloud 
• Experience or at least interests in automotive field
