Developing automated driving requires a comprehensive, mature toolchain to collect, generate, utilize, and manage the data necessary for a safe and reliable solution. aiData is the most advanced, data-driven pipeline for automated driving, reducing complexity through high automation while maintaining automotive quality.

To create a safe ride we developed our very own simulator to generate synthetic data to complement the neural network training process, and to test diverse scenarios before we would actually test our cars in real life environment.

We need someone who would create these driving situations with our in-house editor tool, based on specification from our engineers. An engineering background is preferred, with the ability to think systematically and design complex scenarios involving various actors and interactions. Juniors with the readiness to learn are also welcome to be our simulation engineer.

Job Summary

• Create traffic situations/scenarios in our simulation scenario editor tool for ADAS testing and synthetic data generation
• Test the completed scenarios in our simulator
• Execute test suites for scaled up data export
• Create statistics/visualizations on the exported data
• Cooperate with project managers and colleagues to meet project targets

Key Qualifications 

• BSc degree in Engineering or any related field 
• Intermediate level English skills
• Good communication skills
• Precise, proactive attitude

Considered as a plus 

• Basic programming knowledge (python, jupyter)
• Experience with ADAS features and respective safety standards (NCAP, ISO, NHTSA)
