Android Developer - Connected Navigation

As an Android Developer in Connected Navigation development team, you will work on a brand-new, greenfield project focused on developing advanced Voice features for premium category vehicles. In this role, you will design and build next-generation in-vehicle experiences from the ground up, shaping how users interact with infotainment system through voice-driven solutions.

Job Summary 

  • Develop voice control software for Android 14, implement UI using Jetpack Compose 
  • Build an application layer which communicates with the underlying SDKs
  • Implement business logic for platform-specific services and interfaces 
  • Participate in communication with key stakeholders, suppliers and UX designers 

Key Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering or Computer Science 
  • Minimum 3 years of programming experience in a professional environment 
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose 
  • Strong  Kotlin knowledge 
  • Familiarity with Android APIs 
  • Deep understanding of software design patterns, such as MVVM and Clean Architecture, ability to write testable and maintainable code 
  • Strong written and oral English skills 
  • Open minded, flexible and willing to adapt to changing situations 
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach by taking the initiative to identify and solve problems independently 
  • Capable of making decisions in time, while dealing with uncertainties and incomplete information 

Considered as a plus 

  • Experience with a navigation SDK, e.g. Mapbox 
  • Experience with Android Automotive
