Sensor Simulation Research Intern - aiSim
aiMotive began developing its innovative aiSim in the nascent days of simulation in automated driving. Building this expertise has allowed us to create the first ISO26262 certified tool available to the broader automotive industry. TCL 3 enables aiSim to be an integral part of a development and verification toolchain up to ASIL D, ensuring deterministic, realistic, and repeatable testing.

Job Summary
- Collecting and using real-world sensor measurement data to validate sensor simulation
- Verifying the implementations of new sensor features
- Researching and supporting the development of simulated sensor models (camera, LiDAR, radar)
Key Qualifications
- Ongoing (active/passive) full-time university studies for at least one more year
- At least 20-25 working hours/week
- Intermediate Python (or MATLAB) knowledge
- Experience with (or an interest in) perception sensors and computer vision
- A strive to explore cutting-edge technology (e.g. neural rendering)
- Precision with an independent and proactive attitude
- Intermediate level English
Considered as a plus
- Experience with simulation software and modeling
- Experience with C++ programming
- B-category driver’s license
