We are seeking a software engineer to join our Architecture & Framework Team. The team's responsibilities range from providing robust, extendable APIs for plugin developers to creating an easy-to-use, multipurpose application using the aiSim rendering engine.

Job Summary

• Develop new features into our simulation framework using C++17 
• Take part in transforming feature requests into software design, enforcing maintainability and testability 
• Extend and maintain aiSim’s SDK and APIs that expose core features to customers
• Design and develop robust and testable code 
• Cooperate closely with other aiSim teams, technical writers and project management

Key Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of modern C++ and Git
• Basic knowledge of modern CMake (3.x)
• Knowledge of design patterns and architectural patterns
• Experience in multiplatform development (Ubuntu2204, Windows 11)
• Critical attitude towards code quality, processes and documentations
• Ability to read and write documentation using UML 2.0 diagrams
• Understands SOLID principles
• Intermediate level English skills

Considered as a plus

• Knowledge of numerical methods and vehicle physics
• Knowledge of Doxygen documentation
• Experience in network programming
• Experience with sanitizers
• Experience with package management
• Experience with C++20, C++23
• Experience with cloud based systems
