IT Systems & Security Engineer
We are seeking a motivated Systems & Security Engineer to join our innovative IT team. This role uniquely combines hands-on system administration responsibilities with proactive IT security management. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure while preparing the organization for successful security audits and regulatory compliance.
Job Summary
IT System Administration (70%)
- Administer and manage Linux and Windows server environments.
- Manage Active Directory (Domain, LDAP), including access rights and policies.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network equipment including switches and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
- Support internal teams with IT-related issues and technical support.
IT Security Management (30%)
- Participate in Information Security Management System (ISMS) activities.
- Monitor security events, respond to security incidents, and implement necessary improvements. (Microsoft Defender)
- Participate actively in internal and external security audits, specifically ISO 27001 and TISAX.
- Collaborate closely with other teams, the Information Security Committee (ISC), Data Protection Officer (DPO), and Information Security Officer (ISO).
- Create and deliver information security training and awareness materials.
- Conduct regular access rights reviews and password audits.
- Assist in preparing the organization for compliance with the NIS2 directive from an IT security perspective.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including policies, procedures, and security reports.
Key Requirements
- Solid experience in Linux and Windows server administration.
- Hands-on experience managing Active Directory and LDAP.
- Experience in network administration, especially with switches, firewalls (FortiGate) and Wi-Fi configurations.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards.
- Experience managing or implementing IT security applications.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proactive, organized, and capable of multitasking.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
Considered as a plus
- Experience preparing for regulatory compliance audits (ISO 27001, NIS2, TISAX).
- Previous experience with incident management and response.
- Certifications in information security, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH or equivalents.
