Product Software Engineer
aiMotive began developing its innovative aiSim in the nascent days of simulation in automated driving. Building this expertise has allowed us to create the first ISO26262 certified tool available to the broader automotive industry. TCL 3 enables aiSim to be an integral part of a development and verification toolchain up to ASIL D, ensuring deterministic, realistic, and repeatable testing.
Job Summary
- Develop and expand our simulation software using C++ 14/17, for new features requested by our partners
- Doing requirement engineering for the partners
- Heavy involvement with the product development process
- Working on the product planning by discussing the customer's needs
- Write robust, maintainable code
- Cooperation closely with graphic artists and software developers
- Travelling to customers (San Fransisco, Germany, etc.) several times a year
Key Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of C++
- C++11, C++14, C++17, C++20 experience
- Experience in parallel systems' development
- Ability to analyze customer's architectural needs
- Systems thinking
- Great team player attitude
- Qt knowledge
- CMake knowledge
- Critical attitude
- Patience to detect problems
- Intermediate level English skills
- Social competency, flexibility and ability to work with the developer and research teams
