Embedded Software Engineer (aiWare)

Location: Budapest, Hungary

Job Summary

  • Being part of our Hardware Department and work close with RTL engineers, high level software engineers and PCB designers
  • Linux bringup on custom embedded SoC development boards
  • Low level Linux userspace and potentially kernel driver development for custom hardware and new sensors

Key Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (electrical engineering (embedded systems) preferred)
  • Fluent English skills
  • Advanced engineering problem solving skills
  • Affinity for embedded software development
  • Stable knowledge of Linux, as user and also as software developer
  • Stable C programming skills

Considered as a plus

  • Basic knowledge of VLSI design workflow
  • C++ programming
  • Xilinx or Altera (Intel) high level SoC design (Zynq, Zynq UltraScale+, Altera SoC FPGA) and tools (Vivado block design, Vivado HLS, Quartus), IP packaging
  • Scripting (bash, TCL, Python)
  • Basic bare metal or RTOS knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of RTL design in Verilog or VHDL
