Customer Support Engineer

Job Summary

  • Provide product and technical support to key customers for aiMotive’s automated driving simulator (called aiSim)
  • Support customers’ deployment and on-going operation of aiSim, joining customer technical reviews and meeting in-person
  • Work closely with aiSim engineers at our Headquarters in Europe to troubleshoot customers’ product and integration issues and to address customer technical questions and requests
  • Maintain deep relationship with the customers’ technical staff by making periodic visits, exploring specific needs and resolving problems
  • Conduct product and technical demonstrations for customers
  • Understand customer needs and communicate product and technical requirements to aiMotive’s headquarters
  • Identify and track key performance metrics to ensure customer satisfaction ratings
  • Prepare technical content and sales collateral material
  • Advise customer on simulation best practices
  • Maintain an up-to-date industry knowledge of self-driving technologies, sensors, AI acceleration and simulators

Key Qualifications

  • University or equivalent degree (Bachelor) for technical studies (Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience in automated driving simulation
  • Good skill to communicate with customers for pre-sales and project
  • Strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build and grow relationships with customers, partners and internal groups
  • Ability and willingness to travel within US and to aiMotive’s headquarters in Europe
  • Driver’s license
  • Authorization to work in the US

Considered as a plus

  • Knowledge of automated driving technologies
  • Knowledge of automotive safety practices and standards
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and Neural Networks processing
