Chief Commercial Officer

AImotive is one of the largest independent teams in the world working on automated driving technologies. Developing self-driving software, proprietary simulation tools and neural network acceleration hardware IP, we are building an ecosystem to aid the deployment of automated driving. To catalyse industry collaboration our products are scalable, modular and hardware agnostic. We build on our team’s expertise in artificial intelligence, sensor fusion, 3D graphics and real-world automated driving workloads, developed utilizing our global test fleet, to support partners in realizing their self-driving goals. Our team currently has over 190 members. The company has offices in Mountain View, California; and Yokohama, Japan. The bulk of our development happens at our headquarters in Budapest where a team of 150 highly skilled engineers spearheads our efforts.

Job Summary

  • Oversee the establishment and execution of commercial strategies
  • Grow our customer base and drive business within existing customers globally
  • Manage customer and partner relationships globally
  • Work cross-functionally with our multi-disciplinary team and ensure our product roadmap and sales growth plan are aligned
  • Contribute to company-wide Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Strategy work as a management team member of AImotive’s business organisation
  • Represent AImotive at tradeshows and industry events
  • Manage the Marketing, Sales and Business Development teams; ability to lead teams on-site and remotely
  • Evaluate market opportunities and sales potential to achieve annual sales objectives.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development and/or Strategy management roles within Technology and Automotive industry
  • Experience in Automotive and Software industry
  • Proven track record of scaling up a new business, building long-term partnerships and achieving ambitious commercial targets 
  • Strategic thinking and execution. Ability to develop new sales and business strategy options while successfully executing on existing opportunities
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Interest for artificial intelligence and self-driving cars
  • International business development / commercial experience
  • Ability to oversee industry trends and translate it into product strategy and business model
  • Influential interpersonal skills which engage others, resulting in uplifting team interactions.
