Automotive Quality Engineer

We are looking for an experienced automotive quality engineer to support our quality team to approach our automotive goals.

aiDrive is an inherently scalable self-driving full-stack software offered to automotive OEMs and Tier1s. Utilizing an economical vision-first redundant sensor setup aiDrive offers a safe autonomous experience. Relying on powerful artificial intelligence and robust sensor fusion it is prepared for self-driving in any environment, climate, or driving culture. Its simulator tested and real-world proven autonomous valet parking and highway autopilot capabilities are under constant public road testing in Hungary and in the US.

Job summary

  • Management and adaptation of automotive quality activities for autonomous driving and ADAS projects according to VDA 3.1 Automotive SPICE
  • Supporting automotive related processes in production project
  • Ensuring Quality Assurance
  • Participating internal and external spot-checks, audits and assessments
  • Lessons learned activities
  • Review work-packages (FMEA)
  • Defines and maintains style guide, coding guide and documentation guidelines, code review checklist
  • Identifies, configures and maintains tools for the enforcement of guidelines
  • Performs spot checks to identify non-compliances
  • Supports the development team with analyzing findings by analysis tools and suppressing false positive findings
  • Regularly performs hands-on sanity checks on software packages
  • Work with development teams fixing individual issues and also implement measures so that the same or similar issue does not occur again

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum INTACS AUTOMOTIVE SPICE Provisional Assessor or equivalent certificate
  • Quality Assurance experience in automotive projects (min 3 years)
  • Software development related background (C/C++)
  • Knowledge of embedded software development environment
  • Independent, systematic and process-oriented work
  • Proactive attitude to get things done
  • Confident English skill

Considered as a plus

  • Experience in Functional Safety processes 26262
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
  • Participate in internal or external ASPICE assessment
